I didn’t know what to expect going in to my first Macedonian wedding, but Helene and Steve’s wedding was an awesome start! And an early start at that…the band kicked off at Steven’s family home in Wollongong from 9am and they played their last song at the City Beach Function Centre just after midnight – creating a wild dance floor with sweaty shirts and emphatic singing. Helene was a stunning bride, and I was touched to see the French tradition of her dancing with her father just before her first dance with Steven. Congratulations to you both, and I’ll definitely know to be prepared for the next Macedonian party!
